US ITP Specialist

In the ongoing journey to harmonize and implement common end-to-end processes and systems in order to gain effectiveness and scale benefits.  The ITP Specialist supports global transactional Accounts Payable services for CBS customers in Americas region using the ONE Platform (SAP and Basware with global finance processes including offshore operations) and LN ERP platform with local Basware and finance processes.  ITP Specialist follows Cargotec practices and policies and promotes process-driven way of working.  ITP Specialist ensures cross-organizations consistency in his/her own actions and supports global standardization when local business interests or statutory regulations are conflicting with the global company practices and policies.


Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Invoice pricing and quantity issues work with local business for research and correction
  • Foreign vendor invoices (fx, tariffs, surcharges and voucher)
  • Intercompany (IC) invoices and voucher
  • Maintain communication log with business on research items
  • Non conformance issues and vendor deductions
  • GRNI / GRIR - unvouchered invoices
  • External vendor inquiries regarding payment
  • Work with Basware and Waltco Lift in Canada
  • Requests from the business for research
  • Assist with closing - preparing entries for IC, freight and in-transit accruals
  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need to succeed:

Education:  Minimum BA degree in finance or business or minimum of 4 years of relevant business experience and financial accounting skills



  • Experience with simple to complex query handling
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and communication skills
  • Good understanding of ERP finance & controlling (understanding for SAP, BAAN LN and Basware Cloud system preferred)
  • Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
  • Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
  • Full professional proficiency of the written and oral English 
  • Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
  • International mindset


Working together with:

  • The ITP Team in US, Sofia, Bulgaria and Bangalore, India
  • The RTR and OTC teams for escalated queries
  • Customers of CBS both external and internal
