We, at Cargotec, are looking for a Finance Trainee to become part of our Hiab team. We’re looking for someone who will support tasks and activities to the entire Invoice to Pay area.
Our traineeship program continues for 6 months and gives the trainees the exciting opportunity to acquire knowledge, put it in practice and to become an indispensable part of the team. Trainees at Cargotec have the chance:
- to explore how a large international company, a world leader in its industry, operates
- to learn what are the principle of the finance management of a company - specifically in the Accounts Payable area
- to get used to working with advanced technical systems such as SAP
- and last but not least - to join a fun and supportive team ready to share their knowledge with you.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- To be an active member of the Invoice to Pay team
- Perform activities which include, but are not limited to: data extraction, review and validation of documents and their distribution, handle requests from internal users regarding travel and expense management queries
- Work with different company tools such as SAP, Basware and ServiceNow
- Perform any ad-hoc activities as per request of the direct manager.
What you’ll need to succeed
- To be enrolled in a Bachelor Degree in Finance / Accounting / Business or to be in your last years of studies
- No previous experience required
- Full professional proficiency of written and oral English language required
- Problem solving, organisational and communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT) or Google Workspace tools
- Proactiveness and ability to work both in team and independently
- Display a strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Ability to meet strict deadlines.
