Senior Accounts Payable Support Specialist

Purpose of the position

Providing supporting tasks and activities to the entire Source-to-Pay (STP) area in CBS in alignment with corporate and business area procurement as well as customers’ needs and expectations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

 

  • Active member of the Source-to-Pay (STP) process area
  • Responsible for resolving complex queries from customers, vendors and colleagues with minimum supervision
  • Specialist providing assistance on ITP-related inquiries, acting as an employee’s first line of contact via appropriate channels (tickets, chat, calls, etc.).
  • Maintain good working relationships within the other process teams
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Support Solution Owners and Global Process Owners in continuous improvement and implementation of programs, policies, and procedures of the CBS
  • Ensure customers are satisfied to maintain a positive brand image for the CBS
  • Contribute as required in updating and maintaining all documentation
  • Training of new joiners and support of less experienced employees
  • Participate in transition activities
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability
  • All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements
     

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or Business
  • Min. 4 years of experience in P2P process area
  • Experience in customer support role 
  • Knowledge of related process areas such as Source-to-Receipt (STR), Record-to-Report (RTR)
  • Experience with simple to complex query handling
  • Customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving, organisational and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP/Cloud system
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT) and Google Office
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English
  • Good at communicating in a professional manner
  • Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines

 

WORKING TOGETHER WITH 

 

  • The entire S2R and ITP teams in CBS and external BPO providers (when applicable)
  • Corporate AP Team 
  • The RTR & OTC teams for escalated queries
  • The CBS ITP and STR process owners and system owners
  • The project team
  • Other stakeholders across the Global Company (to the extent required)
