Risk Analyst, Third Party Risk Management Services

Purpose of the position


The Risk Analyst, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) position will be responsible for delivering third party risk management services to ensure compliance with various internal processes and regulatory requirements.  This role will be directly involved in assessing potential and active customers for any sanctions or other potential compliance risks.


Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Conduct high quality customer risk assessments by reviewing alerts, triggered by a specialized sanctions screening software 
  • Identifying ownership information for prospective customers 
  • Identifying potential integrity/compliance risks
  • Assess accurately the sanctions risk levels
  • Communicate results of risk assessments to the respective streams, committees, business process owners and various levels of leadership
  • Support key users of the specialized screening software
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support relevant projects
  • Promote culture of ethics and compliance in the organization
  • Perform any ad-hoc activities as per request of direct superior.

What you’ll need to succeed:


  • A degree in Law, Business Administration, Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, or a related field required
  • Experience with a specialized sanctions screening software
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in the areas of Third Party Risk Management, in particular database screening services and investigative due diligence research is considered an advantage
  • 2 or more years risk management experience or 3 years operations experience in a relevant functional area
  • Formal Risk/Compliance management training is considered an advantage
  • Hands-on experience working with other TPRM/database screening solutions 
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English. Fluency in other languages is seen as a plus.
