The Risk Analyst, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) position will be responsible for delivering third party risk management services to ensure compliance with various internal controls and procedures and regulatory requirements. This role will be directly involved in conducting ongoing monitoring and assessment efforts of potential and active third parties (i. e. resellers, suppliers, consultants, advisors, etc.) to mitigate risk.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Perform Third party risk management-related activities, i. e. partner with key stakeholders to identify, assess, aggregate and document risks and controls, including risks associated with third party operations using advanced knowledge
  • Responsible for identifying and tracking continuous monitoring activities to ensure the risks associated with onboarded third parties have not changed or exceeded risk tolerance thresholds
  • Communicate results of risk assessments to the respective streams, committees, business process owners and various levels of leadership
  • Apply advanced TPRM and Trade Sanctions knowledge to utilize or produce analytical reports
  • Recognize unusual events or consistent problems and work with team members to resolve issues
  • Maintain good working relationships within the other process teams
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support relevant projects
  • Prepare work instructions, job aids and training documents
  • Perform any ad-hoc activities as per request of direct superior 

What you will need to succeed:

  • Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Finance, or a related field required
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in the areas of Third Party Risk Management, in particular database screening services and investigative due diligence research
  • 2 or more years risk management experience or 3 years operations experience in a relevant functional area
  • Formal Risk/Compliance management training
  • Hands-on experience working with a TPRM/database screening solutions
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English, fluency in other languages is seen as a plus
  • Very good communication and presentation skills
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.
