Procurement Process Specialist

Currently we, at Cargotec, are looking to attract a Procurement Process Specialist for our Hiab team.

 

The Procurement Process Specialist will report the Procurement Excellence Manager and will work towards developing and updating the Hiab sourcing process incl. performance measures, process standards and policies including touch points and interfaces to related process areas.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Data Management, Business Intelligence, Systems Knowledge in the Source to Receipt (STR) area
  • Data Collection
  • Support Global Process Owner in process standardization and harmonization through continuous improvement (incl. automation and robotics)
  • Manage assigned process development projects independently
  • Identify new improvement opportunities
  • Assist with KPIs and measurements to assess and manage the performance of the end-to-end process
  • Organize and coordinate process development activities in collaboration with parallel Process Owners/Cross-Functionally
  • Support service delivery is with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and in accordance with the SLA
  • Ensure compliance to Internal Control framework within your function
  • Various reporting support
  • Document Management
  • Participate in transition activities through analyzing and mapping country specific deviations and enrolling the global processes
  • Support that cross-functional processes in creating the best possible end to end efficiency.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability
  • All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements
  • Responsible for securing own and co-workers’ safety and health with all possible means and in compliance with the law.
     

What you’ll need to succeed

 

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or similar
  • +4 years of experience in an international environment on a position related to Indirect Procurement, Source to Receipt or similar
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Time Management
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Logical thinking
  • Process oriented mindset
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts), Powerpoint and process mapping tools
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required, other languages being an asset
  • Project Management exposure
  • Beneficial/preferable experience: Lean /Green or Black Belt/Six Sigma.
