Junior Procurement Support Specialist

Purpose of the position


We are currently looking for a Junior Procurement Support Specialist to provide support and activities to the entire Source-to-Receipt (STR) area in Cargotec Business Services in alignment with corporate and business area procurement as well as customers´ needs and expectations.


Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Support activities including help desk services to internal and external customers via chat and tickets;  
  • Reporting and analytics services to support internal customers and Cargotec Sourcing and Purchasing teams;
  • Maintain good working relationships within the other process teams;
  • Deliver trainings to end-users;
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies;
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.


What you’ll need to succeed:


  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business or any other relevant field;
  • 1 year of experience in support team role in particular related to supporting tasks and processes is preferable;
  • Knowledge of related process areas such as Procurement and Accounts Payable is seen as a plus;
  • Very good technical skills - Excel, PPT, ERP and Google Office tools as an advantage;
  • Problem solving, organisational and communication skills;
  • International mind-set;
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English.
