Purpose of the role is to be part of the Cargotec Business Services (CBS) Center supporting Cargotec internal customers and maintaining and developing the HR system (SuccessFactors) as well as developing the HR processes and ways of working.

The HR System Specialist is responsible for supporting and developing the global HR system for the Cargotec business needs. The position requires excellent system and HR process understanding as well as customer support skills together with a deep commitment and interest for development and training. The HR System Specialist participates in solution design and provides both functional and technical expertise for HRIS related development and maintenance activities as well as ensures that the quality and consistency of HRIS development actions are in compliance with current HR policies and guidelines. The HR System Specialist has an important role in acting as a partner for the CBS HR Services team, CBS Process Owner, CBS ZONE Technical Support team and Cargotec IM organisation.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • HR System Specialist provides the high quality support for the Cargotec internal customers, actively solves problems, and provides polite and respectful support to internal customers.
  • Takes an active role for further develop and contribute the operational processes for incident, event, problem and service request management. Additionally proceeds actively with the needed corrective actions for system maintenance in case of system incident and communicates the issue for respective parties.
  • Maintains excellent relationships with all stakeholders (Service managers, IT coordinators, HR personnel etc.)
  • In cooperation with the respective stakeholders ensures the high level data quality of the global HR system by monitoring the system functionalities and takes the required actions for the configuration changes/updates
  • Takes an active role and responsibility for the continuous system development and proactively provides development ideas.
  • Creates and maintains HR system instructions and documentation.
  • Creates and maintains system / technical training materials and conducts trainings.
  • Proactively searches the possibilities to develop the common service framework.
  • Support Cargotec internal customers with the system related functional and technical issues
  • Maintain and develop the system structure and configuration to fulfill the Business needs
  • Participate HR system and integration development, testing and implementation activities in cooperation with the stakeholders
  • All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability
