HR Specialist (focus on HR systems)

Purpose of the position

 

To act as a HRIS Specialist  for the respective area of responsibility for Kalmar business, by delivering HR services in line with customers’ needs and expectations. 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • End-user support - “Know-How” and HR system related issues and questions
  • Data quality check & Reporting needs support 
  • Supporting mass Organizational changes and mass data upload 
  • Data corrections
  • Act as a counter partner for the CoE for the respective area, representing Kalmar HR Services Team
  • Support global HR initiatives working closely with the CoE and participating in their operational meetings 
  • Advise and consult on the inquiries and solution as a part of the global supporting model
  • Support the creation of training materials, guidelines and work instructions for the respective area of responsibility which will be used globally
  • Supporting testing and implementation phases of the new HRIS functionalities for the respective area
  • Work together with the Process team in order to continuously improve and drive automation in process for the respective area 
  • Raising quality of the respective processes in terms of high level of service excellence 
  • Demonstrate a function knowledge of local HR policies and processes to effectively respond to customer queries

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

  • Minimum bachelor degree in HR or business

Experience

  • 2+ years experience in HR domain and BPO

Competencies

  • Experience with simple to complex query handling
  • Experience with HR systems
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English
  • Demonstrate an attention to detail and the ability to check one’s own work
  • Demonstrate comfort in adapting to different ways of working across cultures and organisational hierarchies - in and outside of HR
