Finance Business Controller

More than 230 people in Bulgaria provide services in the areas of Finance, HR and Indirect Procurement.

Main tasks and responsibilities

CBS Business Controller:

  • Controlling CBS recharging flows; deliver recharging transparency. Documenting process and changes.
  • Oversees CBS global costs, including 3rd party providers
  • CBS cost controlling and variation analysis including CBS Sofia, hubs and CBS costs in local countries
  • Analysis of the financial performance of the CBS operations
  • Actively contributing to the forecasting and financial planning of the CBS Operations
  • Prepare standard management reporting
  • Support decision making
  • Create, maintain and manage tools for financial performance management
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Support audit process
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Project management responsibilities

  • Manage and participate in finance data related projects
  • Evaluate financially different initiatives and projects           

What you will need to succeed:

Education

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration / Economics / Accounting or otherwise proven capability of being able to successfully master the position  

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience of working with financial planning and analysis
  • Experience working in data related projects, in requirement management, or in master data projects
  • Experience in working in a virtual organization and working with matrix reporting model

Competencies

  • Strong knowledge and experience of all key finance processes
  • Good knowledge about the financial concepts, modelling and financial analyses
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Presentation and training skills
  • Strong IT literacy; outstanding Excel skills, SAP
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting
  • Fluent English (corporate language)
