Expert, CBS Finance Operations Management and Development

Purpose of the position


Active contribution and participation to Cargotec Business Services Finance operations management and development efforts in two main areas:


  • supporting CBS Finance leadership in running and improving a regular cadence in performance and productivity management and stakeholder engagement areas and, 
  • proactively providing development insights and identifying Continuous Development opportunities based on reporting and analytics and collaboration with the CBS Finance service delivery, GPO teams as well as CBS central teams. 

Position holder will bring in a deep finance operations knowledge and promote systematic and analytical approach in operations management and development.


Main tasks and responsibilities


  • Establish and further improve the CBS Finance performance and productivity management process and practices;
  • Own and continuously improve the CBS Finance reporting and analytics framework, including dashboards and KPI reporting in collaboration with broader reporting and analytics team under the CBS organization;
  • Ensuring data consistency as well as supporting the meeting cadence by ensuring timely updates;
  • Working on Continuous Development with stakeholders; 
  • Proactively facilitate CBS Finance operations management cadence, including but not limited to performance and productivity management and stakeholder engagement (Quarterly Business Reviews); 
  • Drive consistency and quality for the CBS Finance Quarterly Business Reviews for instance by ensuring timely preparations and effective action management as well as feedback mechanism; 
  • Conduct analysis and feasibility studies in the CBS Finance domain, as applicable;
  • Support the service delivery and development colleagues in the areas of operations and service management;  
  • Maintain good working relationships and team spirit within the organization.


What you’ll need to succeed


  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Finance or Business;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Experience and understanding of operational finance and shared services/GBS delivery models; 
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills; 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organisational and communication skills;
  • Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices;
  • Good at communicating in a professional manner;
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required;
  • Passion to drive change;
  • Influencing skills;
  • Courage to implement with determination;
  • Open minded for new tasks and commitment to project working style; 
  • Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies.
