CBS Finance Program Manager

More than 350 people in Bulgaria provide services in the areas of Finance, HR and Indirect Procurement.

Responsible for establishing and running the CBS Finance Project Management Team with the objective of ensuring all projects are delivered using a ‘best-practice’ Project Delivery Approach and are delivered within the agreed scope, time, cost and quality. This role will be three fold, firstly overseeing the portfolio of finance projects, providing expert knowledge and support and monitoring progress and reporting on the portfolio status. Secondly managing projects/programmes directly. Finally, the development, introduction and on-going iteration of the Cargotec’s Project Delivery Approach.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

 

Project Delivery, Financials & Benefits realization

  • Ensure detailed project, implementation or actions plans are created for the duration of each project as appropriate
  • Ensure monitoring of progress against all projects is timely and accurate and enables Sponsors and stakeholders have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions
  • Run or attend (as appropriate) Project Boards or Steering Groups
  • Ensure risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimise disruption to successful delivery

 

PMO Management

  • Contribute to Finance organisational business and budget planning process
  • Manage the administration for project submissions and approvals through the agreed prioritisation and approval process, maintaining a pipeline of approved projects
  • Collate qualitative and quantitative information on project performance for the preparation and production of project reports for internal management purposes
  • Manage the day-to-day activities in the Project Management Team
  • Manage the Project Management Team and provides performance feedback and goal-setting; conducts annual performance assessments and skill development

Project Delivery Approach

  • Be an advocate of the Cargotec’s Project Delivery Approach and recommend improvement opportunities to the CBS PMO Manager 
  • Scope and shape the requirements of the Project Delivery Approach across the CBS Finance organisation working closely with the Head of CBS Finance
  • Working together with the CBS PMO Manager, devise, produce and implement new systems and processes to optimise more effective project management as required and within the framework of the Cargotec’s Project Delivery Approach

 

Standardization of processes, process improvements & financial management and compliance

  • Lead regional and global standardization of processes in Finance in strong collaboration with the SDL and enabling support functions
  • Design, build and implement a robust process improvement strategy and culture within the Finance Organization by using Lean/SigSigma methodologies in strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively work with the respective regional and global teams on retiring old technology, implementation of new tools, systems and automation

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • 8-12+ years of progressive/management work experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Progressive experience working in/with BPO/Shared service in Senior Management roles preferable leading multiple cross functional Finance projects such as tool and process implementation 
  • Experience on leading multi country-multi cultural teams preferable
  • Project Management certification is a must, PMP preferable
  • Bachelor in Public Accounting, Finance or similar. CPA/CA or similar qualification in Finance a plus
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Proficient on Google tool kits
  • Advanced Excel and VB experience developing Macros experience is a plus
  • Experience on Lean and Six Sigma - Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferable
  • Proficient English is a must, any other language is a plus
  • Ready to Travel within the continent 5-10 weeks a year; Ready to Travel overseas 1-2 times per year
