Cargotec Business Services (CBS) was established in 2017 with Sofia as the main global hub and two regional hubs in the United States and Singapore. Its aim is to optimize the global business support processes of Cargotec within Finance, Human Resources and Indirect Procurement.

We are looking for subject Matter Expert/Team Lead, Source to Receipt to join our team and lead STR team in APAC Hub and perform procurement related activities and manage the service delivery of this team in alignment with corporate and business area procurement as well as customers´ needs and expectation.

The location of the position is Singapore, CBS APAC Hub.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Recognize unusual events or consistent problems and work with team members to resolve issues and drive PO adoption for Asia region
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders and corporate and business area procurement as well as within own team and other process teams
  • Deliver service in line with agreed controls and procedures
  • Suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes, procedures and technologies
  • Participate in transition activities when applicable:
    • Support the functional workstream and the transition of processes incl. knowledge transfer and work shadowing
    • Supports the team in resolving day-to-day operational challenges, point of contact for more complex cases and resolution follow up
  • Responsible for identifying and addressing work-related issues to the appropriate staff members - TL, GPO, SDL
  • Plans, apply and track initiatives to achieve team and function's targets
  • Asures QC process is in place, propose improvement plans (if needed) to the Procurement TL- QC to be executed till 10th of each month/ Check of the POs pending at Buyer’s step- once per month
  • Prepare reports and perform root cause analysis on identified areas of improvement, present outcome of findings and suggest solutions
  • Follow up progress and closure of addressed work-related issues with the appropriate person/team/department
  • Ensures necessary set-up work is completed timely and accurately to ensure an enhanced customer experience
  • Develops and maintains sustainable knowledge within the team of the procurement services, systems and processes, promotes customer service mindset among team members
  • Ensures work instructions and training materials are up to date
  • Coordinate on-boarding and training of new or less experienced colleagues
  • Own training plan and execution for operations
  • All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements.
What you’ll need to succeed:

Ideally you have:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in finance or business 
  • Experience in a procurement related role 
  • Knowledge of related process areas such as Invoice-to-Pay (I2P) is seen as a plus
  • Experience with simple to complex query handling
  • Customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving, organisational and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience working with a procurement solutions in the Requisition-to-Receipt area
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PPT), G-Suite tools as an advantage
  • Supporting initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
  • Good at communicating in a professional manner
  • Display a strong work ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies.
