Purpose of the position

  • As we embark on CBS transition in the APAC region, we are searching for a HR Specialist, Contact Team to be part of the CBS Hub team providing first point of contact assistance for HR Services to all Cargotec Business Units in the APAC Region. This position will be based in Singapore.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality HR services in compliance with SLAs, KPIs, global process controls and procedures
  • Operate as first point of contact to attend to requests submitted via the Cargotec Service Portal and where appropriate, assign the requests to the relevant team (Country HR or Transaction team) for further action
  • Support Hiring Managers in the Recruitment process: job postings, CV screening,
  • phone interviews, interview scheduling, ZONE Job Requisition and Offer approvals
  • Identify process improvement opportunities: propose methods to update, simplify and enhance procedures and technologies
  • Create form and letter templates as part of harmonisation efforts
  • Share and incorporate best practices adopted in other countries of the region, where applicable
  • Write, review and update Work Instructions
  • Support Solution Owners and Process Owners in the improvement of CBS programs, policies, and procedures by offering feedback and proposing solutions to areas for improvement
  • Provide training in the onboarding of new hires (use of ServiceNow and ZONE, global processes, country- and business-specific workflows)
  • Initiate and assist in the implementation of projects
  • All work needs to be conducted in compliance with Global Company guidelines, code of conduct, policies, procedures, controls and legal requirements
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager related to the areas of accountability

What you’ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate should be customer centric with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Patient, organized, detailed and results oriented, he/she should be able to multi-task effectively.

Ideally you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • At least 2 years of generalist HR experience
  • Independent worker who has the ability to work and deliver results with minimal supervision.
