The CBS Finance Hub Delivery lead has a dual role: The person will lead the finance organization in the Hub and thus will report directly into the Global RTR Service Delivery Lead. In addition, he/ she will also act as the Site Lead of the hub and therefore will have an indirect reporting line into the Head of Global Cargotec Business Services (CBS). 

Hub Finance Service Delivery Lead responsibilities: The CBS Finance Hub Delivery Lead will provide strategic and business leadership in leading the existing as well as continuing to build the CBS Finance Hub organization and process transformation in the areas of Record to Report (RtR), Invoice to Pay (ItP) and Order to Cash (OtC). The goals of the transformation will be to create & operate a consolidated, structured, sustainable & efficient CBS Finance Hub organization.

Hub Site Lead responsibilities: In addition to the finance operational responsibilities, the person should act as an integrator between the various service delivery teams within the hub such as Indirect Procurement and HR Services teams in addition to the Finance team. The person should create an organizational belonging by creating a team feeling and a good working atmosphere locally, and recommend cross-functional improvement opportunities.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Oversight of team performance to SLA’s and/or other objectives

  • Monitoring of SLA’s, projects, process improvements and new transitions 
  • Analyze and develop corrective and preventive action plans when objectives or SLAs are not met 
  • Maintain a strong focus on execution and deliver short term results and successes while moving towards the long-term vision, and creating regular operational reports highlighting individual and team performance

Leadership and People Management - Coaching of Managers, Team Leads and/or associates of the Finance operations

  • Set goals and objectives for the operations driven by quality, productivity and financial management
  • Prepare and conduct performance appraisals to Operations Managers, Supervisors and/or Team Leads according to deadlines and internal practices
  • Provide input to performance appraisals at the Operations Managers, Supervisor and/or Team Lead levels

Governance, communication and Executive engagement 

  • Schedule/ join regular video conferences with Business Partners to review the operational performance of all financial areas
  • Actively participate and lead quarterly business reviews with regional finance directors/controllers
  • Actively participate on CFO meetings and conference calls

Standardization of processes, process improvements & financial management and compliance

  • Lead regional and global standardization of processes in Finance in strong collaboration with the GPO and enabling support functions
  • Design, build and implement new processes and actively work with the respective regional and global teams on retiring old technology, implementation of new tools, processes, systems and drive continuous process improvements 
  • Develop and execute continuous improvement targets to eliminate productivity inhibitors, gain efficiencies and monitor regularly the financial savings produced from each project
  • Establish the appropriate internal control environment to more efficiently monitor transaction risk and financial exposure ensuring compliance with tax, legal and regulations as per the individual country requirements

What you’ll need to succeed:

Ideally you have: 

  • 8-12+ years of progressive/management work experience in a manufacturing industry
  • Progressive experience working in/with BPO/Shared service in Management roles preferable leading multifunctional Finance operations 
  • Experience on leading multi country-multi cultural teams preferable
  • Bachelor in Public Accounting, Finance or similar. CPA/CA or similar qualification in Finance a plus
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Proficient on Google tool kits
  • Advanced Excel and VB experience, developing Macros experience is a plus
  • Experience on Lean and Six Sigma - Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferable
  • Project Management certification, preferable
  • FLuency in English, any other language is a plus
  • Ready to Travel within the continent 5-10 weeks a year and overseas 1-2 times per year
