We are looking for HR Specialist to our HR services country team in Finland which is part of Cargotec Business Services (CBS). Together with our colleagues in HR Service Center in Sofia, Bulgaria we are supporting businesses in various country-specific employment matters. 

As HR Specialist you will have both country and site responsibilities. On country level you support and act as contact person for blue collar employment matters and also drive the salary structure work for various employee groups. You will also work in close co-operation with Country HR Manager in developing the labor relations in Finland.  In addition you are the site contact for daily HR issues and you support the businesses in the company’s HR processes. 

You work independently in two locations, Raisio and Kaarina, but in close collaboration with other HR Specialists, who are located in Helsinki and Tampere, and Country HR Manager to whom you are reporting. In your role you will also work in close contact with Managers, HR Business Partners and Cargotec Business Services (CBS) HR teams. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and improving local labor relations
  • Coordinating activities and processes according the CLAs
  • Acting as country level contact in blue collar employment matters 
  • Supporting managers in HR annual cycle processes 
  • Managing local health care and work wellbeing initiatives 
  • Representing HR in different site-specific forums
  • Ensuring specific employment life cycle processes and HR annual clock actions.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for a person with perfect communication & negotiations skills but also with the ability to prioritize tasks. In this role you should be customer focused and conflict resolution oriented. 

Ideally you have:

  • Educational background which supports the work within human resources
  • At least 3 years of experience in human resources processes with experience in labor relation building, negotiations and statutory activities 
  • Knowledge of labour law, collective agreements, agreement matters in Finland
  • Payroll knowledge is an advantage
  • Excellent spoken and written Finnish and English skills
  • IT-skills and multiple programme use: SAP Successfactors, GSuite and MS Office.
