Local HR Advisor

Provide support to SBU across multiple HR disciplines. The Country HR Advisor acts as a country representative providing input and guidance on country-specific expertise in multiple HR processes such as payroll, employee relations, performance management, disciplinary cases, and administrative activities. Partners with HR Directors and SBU HR Business Partners.

Main tasks and responsibilities

●    Ensuring efficient employment life cycle HR processes and HR yearly clock actions;
●    Implementation of Country HR Policies;
●    Conducts local onboarding programs
●    Complete Exit and Stay Interviews
●    Support Cargotec HR annual cycle processes (PDP, salary review and bonus payout, Compass) 
●    Responsible for local employee relations 
●    Local competence development initiatives including success profiles for FST and STs
●    Local administrative activities, including document management
●    HR consultancy and coaching for managers and employees
●    Ensures the accuracy of data in HR systems
●    Organize site-level events and initiatives including wellness programs and retention activities
●    Job description development and management
●    Delivering local training such as Code of Conduct and Interviewing 101
●    Assists HR Director with strategic recruitment initiatives; developing Internship Program, partnering with technical schools, outreach programs, and SBU-specific DEI initiatives.

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:
●    4-year degree or equivalent 
Working experience:
●    5 years’ of experience in HR
●    Employee relations
●    HR systems including Payroll and HRIS
●    Coaching 
●    Conflict resolution
Competence and skills:
●    Critical thinking and analytical skills
●    Highly detail-oriented and organized
●    Excellent communication skills both written and oral
●    Leadership
●    Relationship building
●    Able to deliver developed training programs
