Cargotec is looking for a Finance Lead who will be responsible for the assigned unit's management accounting and reporting, including monthly reports and estimates, annual plans, strategy calculations. The position will be based in Perrysburg, Ohio, United States and will be reporting to the Director Finance Operations.

Key accountabilities


  • Work closely with all CBS Finance Hub team members in cooperation with their Line managers and assist them in process development and efficiency within the Hub
  • Support US specific local and legal regulations and content related Finance expertise
  • Give performance feedback about the Hub team from the local point of view to support Line managers during the mid-year reviews and annual PDP sessions
  • Support CBS Line managers with local HR tools and legal regulations and how process is taken care of in practice 
  • Serve as the Bridge between the CBS Finance organization in Europe, US BA organizations (when it comes to feedback sharing) and the US Country Finance organization (Available in the US Hub time zone in case of escalations or urgent team issues)
  • Manage Time and Attendance approval flows, as well as Travel and Expense requests and claims
  • Support CBS in resource forecast or creating a resource capacity plan according to the needs of the team and BAs

What you’ll need to succeed:




  • Minimum bachelor degree in business, finance or accounting 




  • +5 years of experience within Finance in an international environment




  • Outstanding communication and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of industry best practices
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • Courage to implement with the determination and ability to influence various stakeholders
  • Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required
  • Willing to travel
  • Staff Management, Direction Setting, Performance Management, Internal HR processes awareness
