Purpose of the position

Provide professional HR services and administrative support

Main tasks and responsibilities

  1. Local payroll operation, time and attendance & benefits management, including but not limited to pension/insurance agreements and payments, etc.,
  2. Liaise with the local authority to ensure compliance with regards to statutory regulations.
  3. Guide and support line managers on employee performance management and personnel development matters
  4. Support and facilitate the employee engagement process
  5. Support manager to attract the right talents to the organization
  6. Manage employee relations issues and ensure compliance with company HR Policies and local regulations
  7. Contribute to various HR projects, development initiatives, and roll out of new or revised HR policies and systems and administer HR processes and systems

What you’ll need to succeed

  1. Education
    • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
       
  2. Experience
    • At least 3 years of generalist HR experience in a multi-national company
       
  3. Skill/Competencies
    • Good knowledge and experience in key HR processes
    • Good problem solving and influencing skills, and able to manage stakeholders effectively
    • Sound knowledge of Employment Act and related statutory bodies requirements
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Customer service mind-set
    • Team player and resourceful with excellent interpersonal skills
    • Fluent in written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia language
    • Able to travel with own transport
