AP/AR Specialist

Salary: $55-65k/year

Purpose of the position

 

In the ongoing journey to harmonize and implement common end-to-end processes and systems in order to gain effectiveness and scale benefits. The ITP/OTC Specialist supports global transactional Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable services for CBS customers in Americas region using the ONE Platform (SAP and Basware with global finance processes including offshore operations) and LN ERP platform with local Basware and finance processes. ITP/OTC Specialist follows Cargotec practices and policies and promotes process-driven way of working. ITP/OTC Specialist ensures cross-organizations consistency in his/her own actions and supports global standardization when local business interests or statutory regulations are conflicting with the global company practices and policies.
 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

ITP:

 

  • Vendor Master Data in LN and Ivalua
  • Intercompany invoice processing
  • Supply Chain Financing processing
  • Vendor Credit research and processing
  • Assist with month end close - non-po invoice spreadsheets for accruals 
  • Vendor support/account research  

 

OTC:

 

  • Complete daily cash application 
  • Manage credit holds
  • Resolve customer disputes 
  • Act as liaison between customers and tax department to resolve tax issues 
     

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education:

 

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

 

Competencies:

 

  • Experience with simple to complex query handling
  • Strong customer service focus and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office and Google G Suite
  • Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices
  • Full professional proficiency of the oral and written English language
  • Strong ethic and ability to comply with internal controls and policies
  • International mindset

 

Working together with:

 

  • The ITP and OTC teams in US, Sofia, Bulgaria and Bangalore, India
  • The RTR team for escalated queries
