Cargotec corporate IM functions, Business Technology Development, is strengthening technology and process competence in the production solution area and looking for an experienced professional to join our Solution Architecture team. In this role, you would be working with production capabilities and responsible for the development execution according to our commonly defined principles. We expect you to have strong technology competence in ERP production processes, hands-on experience from implementation project work and development in the global environment. In this position you are contributing to the future of the Cargotec factory landscape.

Work is very independent but team intensive at the same time as you are communicating with our service providers as well as business stakeholders to get common understanding about requirements and a solution to be provided. As a part of the role you are also responsible for future solution roadmap and to develop the solution landscape to support business in its strategic targets. You succeed in this role with a combination of solid ERP process understanding and interest in corresponding technologies.

Location would be Helsinki, Tampere or Kaarina.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Drive the strategic solution architecture in production planning area and support factory processes 
  • Mapping architecture-level solutions for both business decision-makers and the implementing experts in an understandable way.
  • Knowledge on the related IM applications SAP ECC. Other ERP`s or supply chain planning technologies are counted as advantage
  • Participating in Cargotec factory platform upgrade project in the core team with the main task to validate high quality new solution design.  
  • Coordinating with agile software development practice.
  • Support and drive development initiatives and work closely with our stakeholders in Solution Development, Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Business Units.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to develop Cargotec’s solution landscape to support business in its strategic targets.
  • Ensure solution development according to agreed roadmap, architectural guidelines and business priorities as well as quality and on-time-delivery of deliverables.

Ideally you have:

 

  • Strong functional understanding of production planning and manufacturing business processes
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in suitable academic area
  • 3+ years of practical knowledge of ERP production processes  (SAP)
  • SAP knowledge in logistics area (PP, MM and WM)
  • Experience from Infor LN is seen as an advantage
  • We hope to see the following in your toolkit: Some experience on core business processes, such as Sales, Procurement, Warehousing, Inter-company, and CRM
  • Hands-on expertise of project and solution development work in production and manufacturing field
  • Experience from agile development process is an advantage 
  • Ability to transfer business requirements into systems solutions 
  • Ability to design solutions based on enterprise level architectural guidelines 
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Fluent in English - both written and verbal
  • Ability to travel.
