Senior Manager, Source to Pay Digital Solutions

Cargotec is now looking for a Senior Manager, Source to Pay Digital Solutions.
 

This position owns the Enterprise  and solution architecture of the defined Procurement and Invoice to Pay related concepts. This includes the ownership of the development roadmap created in close alignment with business stakeholders, related solution owners, service managers and enterprise architects. This role acts as a lead for the Source-to-Pay architecture and solution development team, supporting team members to achieve their tasks and develop in their roles. The role requires a strong understanding of end to end STP processes and process dependencies. Previous experience of working with procurement and invoice management platforms is key.
 
This position is located in Finland, Helsinki, Kaarina or Tampere and you will report to the Director, Shared Solutions.
 

 

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

1. Own and govern the overall STP domain architecture

 

  • Own the roadmap and development roadmap for the defined concepts 
  • Ensure that new developments and solutions are properly defined and implemented to support the overall enterprise architecture and business needs
  • Product owner for STP solutions incl. business intelligence within own domain
  • Support IT development projects together with relevant  solution architects  in architectural design, implementation and documentation
  • Actively participate in the development of the overall Target Architecture and Architecture Vision of Cargotec.

 

2. Lead the Source to Pay architecture and solution development team within Group IM

 

  • As the team manager, be responsible for ensuring effective ways of working, adopting agreed working methods and standards and monitoring the team workload and content in order to support required changes
  • Ensure prioritisation of development activities to allow sufficient resourcing to support high quality outcomes
  • Ensure the individual and team development targets are set and achieved.

 

3. Represent the IM STP Solution Architecture team in required forums towards main stakeholders.

 

4. Participate in major development projects during the concepting and planning phases.


In addition the role will:

  • Be a member of the Shared Solutions core team
  • Develop KPIs for the own area of responsibility
  • Take part in key partner (external suppliers) selection and collaboration
  • Be responsible for the financial planning (internal and external costs) related to own area.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or other relevant area.

 

 
Experience

  • Experience of a team lead role
  • Experience of working with ServiceNow and procurement and invoice management platforms
  • Experience of administration activities is an advantage.

 


Competencies

  • Extensive understanding of Source to Pay and related Business processes
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and interfaces
  • Strong Interest in project work and development of processes and IT system
  • Proficient in spreadsheets (possibly Google Sheets)
  • Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English
  • International mind-set and comfortable with working in global matrix organisation
  • Positive and solution-oriented person with motivation for the tasks as hand
  • Experienced and inspirational  team lead 
  • Ability to network with people 
  • Understanding of business processes and their development, documentation and definition and the link between business processes and IT systems
  • Collaborative, team oriented and with strong communication skills
  • Strong organisation and coordination skills.
