Cargotec is looking for a Manager, Treasury Control who will be responsible for external and internal reporting for treasury and our compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. In this role you act as a business owner and main user for all treasury systems and lead the implementation and development of the system landscape and control framework.
You will work closely with the Treasury Front Office -team and our business services.
Reports to the Head of Treasury.
The location of this position is Helsinki, Finland.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Responsibility over coordinating the external and internal reporting related to treasury items, including preparation of annual & interim report notes and disclosures for IFRS & FAS financial statements.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards related to treasury operations
- Maintain, develop and streamline treasury system landscape and interfaces
- Maintain, develop and ensure compliance with Treasury Control Framework in all aspects of treasury operations
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Education
- Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- Experience
- At least 7 years of relevant experience
- Competencies
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Working experience from similar tasks, for example within corporate treasury
- Understanding of treasury accounting and knowledge of relevant IFRS standards.
- Understanding the treasury processes and related risks
- Understanding of systems and interfaces used in treasury (e.g TWIN, SAP, HFM, Finastra, Refinitiv, DTCC)
- Development-minded, self-initiative, proactively thinks how to add value for internal customers / stakeholders. Improves ways of working, systems, tools and processes
- Proactive personality with good teamworking skills, active dialogue with internal stakeholders
