Funding Programme Manager

As a Funding Program Manager, you will be working with our corporate and business units in managing Cargotec’s funded project portfolio. You will be a member of the Cargotec Sustainability team and work together with close cooperation e.g. with the Cargotec Digitalisation team in ensuring the projects with granted funding are successfully executed.

 

Main tasks and responsibilities: 

  • Maintain overview of the funded program statuses and progress
  • Responsible for correct and timely external reporting of the projects
  • Responsible for funding applications with focus on EU funding but support in other geographies if needed
  • Working with  the businesses and Cargotec technology development teams to create application and project content matching the funding criteria
  • Ensure together with project managers that funding requirements are met and project targets are achieved
  • Identify funding opportunities and help projects on EU-funding related questions
  • Single point of contact for EU-funding reporting and follow-up issues
  • Implement and execute together with SBU and Cargotec controllers EU-funding accounting principles and processes, to ensure that timesheets and cost & expenditure records are kept in accordance with EU funding rules.

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

  • Project management experience on project having external regulated funding
  • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • +5 years of experience on similar position
  • Fluent English written and spoken skills. Other languages are a benefit
  • Ability and experience on working with project stakeholders (other companies, research institutions, universities)
  • Understanding of funding instruments
  • Knowledge and experience on technologies related to digitalisation, software and robotics is an asset
  • Sustainability knowledge/experience considered an asset.
