Inventory and MM Specialist

Purpose of the position

Responsible for Material master Management. Create/update materials data in Product Data Management software.  

Responsible for inventory management through usage of Servigistics. Reviewing of material re-ordering parameters and propose replenishment strategy.  

Extracting of relevant data from several reporting platforms to review inventory consumption. Also generating KPIs report on a regular basis for management review. 

Global key contact for any escalation from Frontlines 

Key-user for SAP in relevant fields

Main tasks and responsibilities

Ensuring high integrity of material master data

Setup of kit BOM information & updating list of sub-components

Run reports to keep track of all inventory basic settings in MM
a)    Item cat. group
b)    Valuation class
c)    Lab/office
d)    Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4 blocks
e)    Extension of PNs to specific plants
f)    Weight
g)    Country of origin

Reviewing Servigistic report on inventory status through, different categories,  obsolescence, stock-turn, first pick availability

Analyse consumption trend and propose replenishment plan

Fine-tuning routine replenishment proposal with SVG information

Understanding features of SVG and ensure interface with SAP

Handling of queries raised on JIRA platform

What you’ll need to succeed

⦁    Relevant tertiary education (preferably supply chain) or 2 years of related working experiences within equivalent industries

⦁    Work experience from similar industries will be an advantage
⦁    Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

⦁    Excellent in English language skill in both written and oral
⦁    Able to work simultaneously on different tasks
⦁    Result oriented and able to work under pressure
⦁    Proficient in Microsoft office (i.e. Excel, Ppt, Words)
⦁    Basic knowledge of programming, web designing, IT-related skill sets
⦁    Confident in presentation skills
⦁    Customer oriented with sense of urgency and ability to handle customers in a professional way
⦁    Uses a methodical and systematic approach
