Bromma Spreader Solutions Product Support division is looking for Training Engineer.

In this role you will be responsible for technical training on Bromma Spreaders & Service globally. The key purpose of the position is to grow the business for Bromma related to training, and ensure well-trained Bromma service teams and personnel. In addition to developing the Bromma technical training concept, actual training/training material/training preparations to customers, frontline personnel and the company's own stakeholders are important part of the role.


The location could be anywhere in Europe, preferably existing Bromma/Cargotec office.


This position includes travelling.


The role reports directly to Director, Global Product Support.


Main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Develop Bromma internal and external training concept/vision/mission
  • Drive and develop the regions to ensure we grow the training business to customer
  • Ensure the regions have the material they need to do training on their own
  • Drive the regions to ensure they get the training as needed
  • Plan and carry out internal training events for increased product knowledge
  • When needed plan, coordinate and carry out training events in customer delivery projects
  • Keep track with the competence levels of the company’s internal organisation, its representatives and the customers and come out with training initiatives to ensure a sufficient and up-to-date product knowledge of these stakeholders
  • Keep track with and support the training and events arranged by Bromma, representatives, and customers
  • Actively participate in the implementation of new learning technologies in product training
  • Drive, develop and maintain training material & content 
  • Coordinate with manual team to align material & information
  • Participate in development projects as training representative and ensure related training material & training are created
  • Act as a specialist in the systematic training material collection and storage
  • Lead and participate in various projects.


What you’ll need to succeed:



  • BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering.


Preferred Career Experience

  • Minimum 10  years working experience in related industry.


Technical Skills: 

  • Service experience with spreaders
  • Deep knowledge of industrial equipment containing, mechanical structures, hydraulics, electrics and control system
  • Able to work with people of diverse background
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills
  • Possess strong analytical, good leadership and supervisory skills
  • A self-starter who is driven, resourceful and creative
  • Good judgement to prioritize between available resources, profitability requirements, and market needs.
