We are looking for a positive and curious person with experience in refurbishments & upgrades, and customer support. In this role, you’ll work on a wide variety of technical tasks in close collaboration with the global RUP backend support department.


We are now searching for a new team member to join our team of friendly professionals in Bromma, Kalmar Mobile Solutions as a RUP Engineer. In this role you will be engaged with the sales process and will be accountable for the management of various projects and service work related to upgrades and repairs.
This position is located in Kista, Sweden, and you will report Service Manager; BRM Sales & After Sales EMEA After Sales Services.


Main tasks and responsibilities

As a RUP - Refurbishments & upgrades engineer you have the opportunity to be a project leader for service work such as upgrades and repairs including sales process. You will prepare, quote and follow up on RUP projects and deliver first level project support. You will also support customers, service and sales and visit customers if needed. As a RUP engineer you will also work with after sales support.

What you’ll need to succeed



  • Mechanical/Hydraulic/Electronic, high school or other relevant education.



  • At least 4 years of relevant business / product experience
  • Background in product support or similar
  • Spreader or industry background
  • Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical basics.



  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Negotiation skills
  • High English language skills.


Since you will work with the support process and help your customers and colleagues with troubleshooting, we believe you are a communicative team player who is curious and eager to find root causes for issues/problems. You understand the importance of meeting customer needs and have a way of solving problems - you basically get things done!
