We’re looking for an experienced Sourcing Sustainability Specialist to join our team of professionals.


The position will be responsible for supporting the MacGregor procurement organization’s transformation into a sustainable-focused and future-proof organization, focusing on all areas of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) of supply chain. You will work as part of the procurement excellence team, managing relevant initiatives & program, engaging suppliers, colleting & anaylizing data for reportings. 


The position will be based in Sweden, Poland or Finland.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

 

  • Run the hazardous substances management (HSM) programme 
  • Ensure MacGregor compliance with all relevant regulations (REACH, ROHS, POPS, TSCA, PFAS), certificate collection from suppliers, and SCiP reporting to meet compliance requirements
  • Analyze the SVHC present in MacGregor products and support phasing them out in the long run
  • Analyze the HSM data: find synergies, provide templates, data gaps, and improvement opportunities, monitor and follow up with suppliers that have not provided declarations
  • Run the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) Programme 
  • Contribute to the development of supplier decarbonization roadmaps and action trackers with all suppliers as part of the supplier engagement
  • Act as an advocate for data and reporting needs for Sustainability
  • Support overall sustainability activities including life cycle assessments, circularity, end-of-life, sustainable by design concept and legal regulations and requirements, both towards Corporate and other Business Areas.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

 

  • MSc degree in Sustainability, Business administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or similar
  • 2-5y work experience in responsible sourcing and sustainability 
  • Experience of hands-on continuous improvements, preferably within ethics, compliance and sustainability
  • Experiences of performing quality, environmental and sustainability supplier audits
  • Knowledge of supply chain practices and emissions calculation (GHG Protocol) 
  • Knowledge of legal obligations regarding hazardous substances management, SciP and conflict minerals
  • Strong analytical abilities with
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Fluent in English written and spoken.
