We are passionate about cultivating a collaborative and inclusive workplace that empowers talented individuals to excel. In our ongoing expansion, we are actively searching for an exceptionally skilled Technical Lead to join our team and spearhead the advancement of our Digital Workspace.

 

The Technical Lead, Digital workplace will be responsible for managing the Kalmar portfolio of workplace devices used by our end user community, management tools, and lifecycle support.  Leading the development and implementation of a modern device management environment working closely with our internal business stakeholders, our service managers and outsourcing partners.

 

The position is opened for Finland, Poland, Bulgaria and Sweden.

Main tasks and responsibilities

 

  • End user device management to support end user and application requirements - Working with suppliers, supporting technical leads to create a cost effective and user acceptable portfolio of devices; implementing the needed suppliers and tools to support device lifecycle and secure management of end user devices; working with suppliers to ensure functional supply chain for end user devices; application packaging development; driving automation of end user device  & application deployment.
  • Evaluate and deploy appropriate tools and devices to support a cloud centric/zero trust landscape and automate delivery and provisioning of end user devices
  • Develop needed standards and policies to support the landscape
  • Manage budgetary and planning elements as needed for the role
  • Maintain documentation related to the service
  • Participate in supplier management and RFP processes needed to support the role
  • Coordinating activities with our Service Desk on new developments in the end user device landscape.

What you’ll need to succeed

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent relevant experience.

 

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in IT service management (ITSM) or IT technology roles.

 

Competencies

  • Ability to clearly communicate with business as well as IT personnel
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
  • Ability to manage external suppliers
  • Good ability in networking and forming relationships with internal and external stakeholders / Ability to work with and independently engage in projects with international teams and in virtual environment
  • Drive to innovate & automate processes
  • Exposure to and understanding of key ITIL processes (Change and Incident Management) is preferred.
